Colorado saw its novel coronavirus cases on Saturday make the largest single-day jump for the third straight day, with 112 new cases reported bringing the total to 475. Two additional deaths were reported, bringing the total to six.
More tests are on the way, with 100,000 expected at DIA in the coming days, but it’s still not clear how many of those will stay in Colorado.
Meanwhile, as more Coloradans continue to self-isolate (which is especially challenging for older, more vulnerable citizens), many are finding parks and trails to be an increasingly busy place.
It was also announced late Friday that the public’s park options are reduced by one major closure — Rocky Mountain National Park is shut down for the foreseeable future.
If you are planning to head out to a park, don’t forget .
