Police and emergency personnel with Tri-Lakes Monument Fire Protection District responded to the lake on a water rescue, officials said.
“The victim did not survive,” the fire department said on social media. A photograph of an overturned watercraft on the frigid lake was posted on Instagram.
The identity of the victim was not released Monday.
