Warmer and potentially wetter weather is ahead for the Denver region this week with high temperatures in the 60s Sunday and throughout the week.
Sunday will see mostly sunny skies until about 3 p.m., when there’s a chance of rain showers in the afternoon and into the evening, according to the National Weather Service at Boulder.
That pattern of sunshine throughout the day with possible rain showers in the afternoon and evening will continue throughout the week, with the region most likely to see a thunderstorm on Tuesday afternoon.
High temperatures will be in the mid to high 60s throughout the week, with overnight lows in the low 40s.
