Did Matt Holliday touch the plate?
Thanks to MLB Network, Rockies fans have a chance to re-live that moment and the entirety of Colorado’s thrilling Game 163 victory over the Padres from 2007.
The game, which is widely considered the most iconic in Coors Field history and propelled the Rockies to a National League pennant run, will air twice on the network on Wednesday.
Colorado fans can catch the first airing at 11:30 a.m. on MLB Network, and the game is re-running at 9:30 p.m. to conclude the “Walkoff Wednesday” slate. The Rockies defeated the Padres 9-8 in 13 innings, and Jamey Carroll had the sacrifice fly off San Diego closer Trevor Hoffman to bring home Holliday.
