With the start of the Major League Baseball season postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, we here at The Denver Post took a look at how the Rockies would fare in MLB The Show 20 on PlayStation 4. We will have a story for every game that had been scheduled until real-life baseball returns. Here’s a look at the virtual Rockies’ preseason preview. Entering Sunday’s game, the Rockies were 21-10.

PHILADELPHIA — David Dahl crushed two home runs and the Rockies had 15 hits in their 13-5 rout of the Phillies Sunday at Citizens Bank Park.

Dahl got Colorado on the board early, hitting a solo shot off of Philadelphia starter Zach Eflin on the first pitch of the game to give the Rockies a 1-0 lead. He hit his second the next inning, driving home outfielder Sam Hilliard to grow the lead to 3-0.

Rockies starter Jon Gray (5-1) had another strong outing, giving up four hits, three runs (one earned) while striking out six in six innings of work.

The Rockies improved to 22-10 and hold a 3 1/2 game lead over the surging Dodgers (19-14). Philadelphia dropped to 22-12.

Colorado heads to Detroit (14-20) on Monday. Antonio Senzatela (1-0) takes the mound for the Rockies against Tigers starter Ivan Nova (1-5). The live stream will begin at 2 p.m. MT.
