With the start of the Major League Baseball season postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, we here at The Denver Post took a look at how the Rockies would fare in MLB The Show 20 on PlayStation 4. We will have a story for every game that had been scheduled until real-life baseball returns. Here’s a look at the virtual Rockies’ preseason preview. Entering Sunday’s game, the Rockies were 26-12.
Charlie Blackmon hit two home runs and Trevor Story added another as the Rockies pulverized the Reds, 11-6, on Sunday at Coors Field.
Blackmon got Colorado on the board early, hitting his 10th homer of year for an early 1-0 lead in the first inning.
The Reds took a 2-1 lead in the second. But then Blackmon went yard again in the third, driving home Kyle Freeland to regain the lead. Story added a solo shot to make it 4-2.
David Dahl hit a two-run double, driving home Ryan McMahon and Sam Hilliard in the fourth inning. Blackmon drove him in with an RBI single to make it 7-2.
The Rockies roughed up Cincinnati starter Wade Miley for seven runs on six hits in 3 2/3 innings.

Colorado starter Kyle Freeland improved to 5-3 on the year after giving up four runs on five hits and striking out three.
The Rockies improved to 27-12 and hold a four-game lead over the Dodgers for first place in the National League West. Chi Chi Gonzalez (0-4) takes the mound for Colorado on Monday in the first of a four-game series against the visiting Giants.
