Denver is likely to get afternoon thunderstorms and rain showers mostly after 3 p.m. Friday, forecasters said.

It will be mostly cloudy, with a high temperature near 70 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.

The chance of precipitation is 60%, according to weather forecasters.

There’s a 10% chance of rain showers and thunderstorms after 3 p.m. Saturday, the NWS said. It will be mostly sunny, with a high temperature near 70 degrees. The chance for precipitation increases at night.

Denver has a 10% chance of afternoon rain showers and thunderstorms on Sunday, when the high temperature will be around 80 degrees.

The Mile High City will get very warm on Monday, when the high temperature will be around 88 degrees, the NWS said.

It will be mostly sunny on Tuesday, with a slight chance for afternoon rain showers, forecasters said.

With a slight chance for rain and thunder on Wednesday, the high temperature will be about 81 degrees. Although it will be mostly sunny on Thursday, there’s a slight chance for showers and thunderstorms. The high temperature will be about 77 degrees, the NWS said.
