ESPN unveiled its on Thursday and the Broncos landed eight players on the squad.
Five players made it from the offense (six if you count Jamaal Charles): Quarterback Peyton Manning, left tackle Ryan Clady, right guard Louis Vasquez and receivers Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders.
Three members of Denver’s vaunted defense were named: linebacker Von Miller and cornerbacks Aqib Talib and Chris Harris Jr.
Miller was named the Broncos’ player of the decade. ESPN’s Jeff Legwold writes: “There are plenty of candidates to be the team’s player of the 2010s — but Miller simply rose above in performance and number of games played. … And he did it all with five different defensive coordinators and four head coaches.”
John Fox was the honorable mention for AFC West coach of the decade with Legwold adding, “his teams went 4-for-4 in AFC West titles and went 46-18 in his four seasons in Denver.”
