The fire broke out about 2 p.m. at 7661 Deer Trail Drive, Parker. The property is surrounded by tall trees and wild grasses.
A recent run of dry, hot weather has raised wildfire concerns. Firefighters were able to stop the fire before it made a run through surrounding properties.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
