
Hey you cool cats and kittens, there’s a former Broncos player joining the upcoming season of “Dancing with the Stars” alongside celebrities such as Backstreet Boys’ AJ McLean and Carole Baskin of fame.

Tight end Vernon Davis, who was a member of Denver’s Super Bowl 50-winning team, was announced on Wednesday as one of the 15 celebrity competitors on the show’s 29th season, which is slated to premiere on Sept. 14 on ABC.
The 36-year-old isn’t the first Broncos player to don the dancing shoes. Von Miller and appeared on the 22nd and 27th seasons, respectively. Both finished seventh in the competition.
Davis retired from football in 2019 after 14 seasons in the NFL. He was traded from San Francisco to Denver in 2015 where he totaled 20 receptions and 201 yards in nine games. He finished his career with 583 catches for 7,562 yards and 13 touchdowns, and earned two Pro Bowl selections.
