Since 2016, President Donald Trump continually has added names to his list of potential nominees to the nation’s highest court — two of them judges in Colorado.

Two who have Colorado ties — Judges Allison Eid and Timothy Tymkovich — sit on the bench in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit. Tymkovich serves as chief judge.

Eid’s name surfaced as a potential pick for the Supreme Court in 2016 on . The following year, she was nominated and confirmed as judge Neil Gorsuch’s replacement after he joined the U.S. Supreme Court.
