
Normally at this time of year, Denver’s Harvest Week would bring together a bunch of local restaurants and local farms for a series of community dinners made from Colorado’s produce.
Instead, starting Wednesday and continuing through Oct. 4, restaurants around the city are participating in a remote Harvest Week celebration, where each kitchen will prepare its own seasonal dish and cocktail, for dine-in or takeout, and $1-$2 from every sale will be donated to a local food charity.
Nonprofits and organize and benefit from Harvest Week. EatDenver is a network of more than 250 independent restaurants, while The GrowHaus is a food and educational resource based in the Elyria-Swansea and Globeville neighborhoods.
To contribute this year, Denverites and visitors can head to, or order from, participating restaurants during the 12-day event. Look for their Harvest Week specials when you arrive, or pick out your favorites ahead of time.
