
Firefighters cleaned up a hydrochloric acid spill Thursday night in northeast Denver.
& are starting final cleanup of the 250 gallons of spilled hydrochloric acid. Early 9-1-1 notification reduced exposure to the public & eliminated any possible injuries. No updates to follow.

The 250-gallon spill happened at 4940 Jackson St., C D Chemicals Solutions Inc., according to the fire department.
Neighboring buildings in the industrial area were evacuated as members of the hazardous materials team wore protective gear to clean up the spill. Early 911 notification of the spill helped responders and minimized the chance of public exposure, the fire department said.
There were no reported injuries. The incident is under investigation.
