A reward for information leading to the identity of a suspect connected to a deadly Aurora apartment fire has been increased by $3,000.

Investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying a person who was recorded by camera in a hallway of the three-story building at 1600 Galena St., according to Aurora public safety officials.

The Oct. 30 fire killed one person and sent dozens scrambling for their lives as flames engulfed the building.

The Aurora Reward Fund is now offering $5,000 for information leading to the identification and prosecution of the suspect. Tips can be made to Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7678 (STOP).
