A man was killed after a shooting at an Aurora restaurant Tuesday night, and police are searching for a suspect.
The shooting occurred at 8 p.m. at Mariscos El Rey on the 10000 block of East Iliff Avenue. As of Wednesday afternoon, police had not identified the suspect and did not know what led to the fatal shooting, according to an Aurora Police Department news release.
The man was transported to an area hospital following the shooting. He died around 9 p.m.
The incident is being investigated as a homicide. Police said the suspect was still at large as of late Tuesday night. They have not released a description of the suspect.
The name and age of the person who died will be released later by the Arapahoe County coroner’s office.
