A 25-year-old man is dead following a three-vehicle wreck on Colorado 83 near Franktown in Douglas County.
Colorado State Patrol report that just after 3 p.m. Monday, a KIA SUV, Freightliner semi-truck and a Subaru collided. The man in the KIA was pronounced dead at the scene. The other two drivers were unharmed.
The highway was closed until 8 p.m. as crews worked to clean up the crash.
The lead-up to the crash is still being investigated. The coroner has yet to release the name of the deceased.
