Safeway is now offering walk-in COVID-19 vaccines with no appointment necessary.

Safeway offers all three vaccines — Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson — at most locations. With the consent of an adult, 12- to 15-year-old patients can now get inoculated with the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine at their stores.

“We are committed to offering convenient and easy to access vaccination solutions for our customers,” said Nikki Price, director of pharmacy operations for Safeway, in a news release. “As COVID-19 vaccine supply has improved, we are enabling walk-in vaccination solutions available across all our pharmacies.”

Safeway is still offering appointments as well. The chain is also giving a 10% off coupon for grocery purchases, up to $200, for those receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.

Just under 5 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been given in Colorado. About 39% of Coloradans have been fully vaccinated against the coronavirus.
