Levitt Pavilion increases capacity, adds 10 free shows to summer slate

Levitt Pavilion Denver announced 10 on Tuesday — and those shows could have many more attendees than this past weekend’s season openers.

Levitt Pavilion is ending its pod seating system and is now allowed to host 7,500 fans, which is 37% of the venue’s max capacity and a big increase from the .

For the rest of the season, Levitt will maintain that capacity without any further increases so show-goers can “continue to spread out safely distanced on our lawn at Ruby Hill Park,” according to a release.

Denver’s recent transition to Level Clear COVID-19 restrictions has cleared the way for more capacity.

“Many previously released shows that sold out of free general admission reservations within hours, such as Devotchka, Flobots and Dustbowl Revival, are now available again,” Levitt Pavilion said in a news release.

RSVPs (which are required for all shows) and limited VIP tickets for the 10 new shows

Here are the new shows that Levitt Pavilion added to the 2021 free concert slate:

June 10 —  (Indie folk-pop)

June 17 — (dzܲԳٰ-dz)

June 24 —  (New Orleans funk and jam)

June 25 — (ٱԲپ-DZ)

June 26 — (첹)

July 18 —  (Colorado folk-pop)

July 31 —  (blues rock)

Aug. 5 — (ܱ𲵰)

Aug. 12 —  (R&B soul)

Oct. 9 —  (Americana folk rock)
