Northbound Interstate 225 briefly closed south of the Iliff Avenue exit on Sunday afternoon due to “a fully engulfed vehicle on the roadway,” according to Aurora police. All lanes reopened at 6:30 p.m., according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
The car fire occurred due to “vehicle automotive problems,” police say. There are no injuries.
