Denver is warming up again in the next few days and will near triple digits and a few record highs.
The Mile High City started Wednesday at 96% humidity and under 60 degrees but will quickly warm to 92 degrees under sunny skies with dry air, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. Denver will drop to 65 degrees overnight.
It will be warmer and drier today under mostly sunny skies. No showers or thunderstorms are expected today.

Thursday will near triple digits with a forecasted high of 99 in Denver. There’s a 10% chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3 p.m. It will be sunny and hot, cooling to 66 degrees overnight with 16 mph wind gusts. The record high for July 8 is 103 degrees, set in 1989. It will likely be the warmest day of the week. Denver has hit triple digits three times in 2021.
Friday’s record high is 98 degrees, also set in 1989. The projected high is 98 degrees downtown, with a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms after lunch. There’s a 10% chance of showers and thunderstorms before midnight, with a low of 62 degrees.
The weekend looks to have highs in the mid- to upper 80s.
