G’Angelo Hancock, Fountain

Age: 23

Hancock will be making his Olympic debut after beating Braxton Amos, 4-0 and 8-0, in the trials to earn his spot on Team USA. At Fountain-Fort Carson High School, he finished fourth at 195 pounds as a sophomore in the state tournament. But it was after his prep career had ended that he emerged as one of the best in the country. He’s a three-time U.S. Open champion (2016-17, 19), two-time World Team Trials champion (2017-18) and was the 2019 Final X champion.
