Three people were shot Friday night in Civic Center, police said.
The shootings happened about 8:30 p.m. in the area of Colfax Avenue and Broadway, Denver police said on Twitter.
The shooting victims were taken to a hospital. An investigation is ongoing. Police are looking for a suspect, or suspects, in the case. The medical conditions of the victims were released by Denver Police in an update on twitter at 10:46 p.m. Friday.
One person was pronounced deceased. The second victim is currently in critical condition with the third person suffering non-life threatening injuries.
UPDATE: One of the three shooting victims in the area of Colfax/Broadway has been pronounced deceased. A 2nd victim is in critical condition & a 3rd victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Circumstances and suspect info remain under investigation.
