There will be a public memorial service on August 31 for former Colorado Gov. Dick Lamm, who died last week at 85.
It will take place at 3:30 p.m. at the Wings Over the Rockies Museum, which is at 7711 East Academy Blvd. in Denver. A livestream will be available, though those details haven’t been released yet.
In a statement passed on by family friend and political consultant Eric Sondermann, Lamm’s widow, Dottie, thanked those who have offered condolences.
“Any and all are invited to attend and commemorate a remarkable life well lived,” the statement said.
