After being omitted from the NFL Top 100 list in 2020, Bradley Chubb is making his second appearance in three years.
The Broncos linebacker on Sunday was announced on NFL Network as coming in at No. 40 on the annual list. He is the third Denver player announced this season, following offensive tackle Garett Bolles (No. 82) and safety Justin Simmons (No. 45).
Chubb, 25, was ranked No. 82 in the 2019 list.
“His power is what makes him special and then he gets people off-guard,” Bolles said in a video on the NFL Network. “You think he’s just going to bull rush you and then he hits you with a spin move.”
The former Broncos first-round pick made his first Pro Bowl team last season after recording 7.5 sacks (second on the team behind linebacker Malik Reed) in 14 starts for the team.
“He has speed, he has power, he has the swagger, he has the will,” Bill tackle Dion Dawkins said in the video. “Respect him.”
The 11th annual ranking is determined by votes from NFL players.
