As Broncos fans return to Empower Field in full capacity for the first time since 2019, here’s what you should know about the policies ahead of Saturday’s preseason game against the Rams.
Do I need to be vaccinated?
No. There is no vaccination requirement to attend Broncos games this season.
Do I need to wear a mask?
Vaccinated fans are not required to wear a mask, and unvaccinated individuals are “strongly encouraged” to wear one.
Is tailgating allowed?
Yes, tailgating returns this year after being prohibited at the four games in which fans were allowed in limited numbers at Empower Field in 2020. Tailgating must occur directly in front or behind your vehicle, and all parties must conclude one hour prior to kickoff.
Are autographs allowed?
No. Fans are not allowed to be in close proximity to players at any point, pregame or postgame, because of the NFL’s COVID protocols.
How can I pay for things inside the stadium?
Empower Field is an entirely cashless venue, so credit/debit cards and mobile payment options (i.e. Apple Pay) are accepted. There are cash-to-card machines available on each level of the stadium. Additionally, tickets are again 100% mobile this year.
Can I bring in a bag?
Each ticketed fan is allowed to bring in one clear bag no larger than 12″ x 6″ x 12″, or a one-gallon clear re-sealable bag. Each fan is also permitted a small clutch bag/purse no larger than 6.5″ x 4.5″.
When do parking lots open?
For Saturday’s 7:05 p.m. kickoff against Los Angeles, all parking lots will open at 2:30 p.m.
Anything else to know?
All ticket holders must agree to the “Fan Health Promise” that neither they nor any of their guests have tested positive for COVID in the prior two weeks or shown COVID symptoms in the prior 48 hours.
