Denver police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a fatal hit-and-run investigation.
At about 8:40 p.m. Sunday the driver of a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck was heading south in the 300 block of South Broadway when the truck hit a pedestrian, according to police. The driver did not stop. The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The truck, believed to be a 2005 to 2011 model, likely has damage to the front-passenger bumper. Anyone with information on the incident, or on a suspect or suspect vehicle, is asked to call Denver Metro Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867 (STOP).
