Javonte Williams scored on the Broncos’ opening drive in the first half. He did it again in the second.
The Broncos’ rookie running back snagged a short pass from quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, bobbled it and then spun past Detroit’s defense into the end zone for the touchdown early in the third quarter Sunday at Empower Field at Mile High.
The score gave Denver a 24-10 lead.
