A stretch of C-470 closed in Jefferson County on Saturday after authorities investigated a suspicious package.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office bomb squad determined that the package, located at an underpass at C-470 and West Belleview Ave, was not a threat, the agency said in a tweet.
C-470 reopened between Quincy and Bowles, while West Belleview Avenue remains closed at C-470.
