Southbound lanes of I-25 near downtown reopen after traffic crash

Southbound lanes of Interstate 25 were shut down around Colfax Avenue on Thursday afternoon for about an hour because of a traffic crash.

The crash happened before 2 p.m., according to the Denver Police Department. Traffic was  diverted using Speer Boulevard, police said. The crash involved multiple motorists.

The southbound lanes were reopened at about 3 p.m., according to police.
