

Colton Underwood, one of Denver’s former stars on reality TV show “The Bachelor,” is engaged.
, Underwood and his partner Jordan C. Brown announced the news on social media this week. They have been dating since last summer, the magazine said.
“After my birthday, Jordan and I went to Big Sur for a weekend getaway to decompress and relax in nature,” Underwood told People. “I couldn’t have pictured a more beautiful place to celebrate an amazing milestone in my life and relationship.”
Fans of “The Bachelor” may recall that at the end of the season in which he starred and dated 20-plus women. Instead, he and contestant Cassie Randolph decided to continue their relationship as boyfriend-girlfriend, though things took a turn after about a year together.
The couple split up in May 2020 and Randolph filed a restraining order against Underwood several months later claiming he was stalking her, tracking her car and harassing her, . (Randolph eventually , the publication reported.)
In April 2021, Underwood came out as gay. That same year, Netflix released a docu-series called that details the former professional football player’s struggle with his sexuality and journey to embrace his identity within the LGBTQ community.
“2021 was the most transformative year of my life,” Underwood recently told People. “Starting 2022 off with my best friend, teammate and now fiancé is something I never thought was going to be possible.”
