Every day Bo Byram feels like skating is a good day. Byram, the Avalanche’s prized rookie defenseman, skated with skills coach Shawn Allard before the club’s optional practice on Wednesday at Family Sports Center.
Byram, 20, hasn’t played since Jan. 10 because of continuous concussion-related issues that have stalled his NHL career. He was placed on personal leave on Jan. 12 and is attempting to return from the injured list for the third time this season.
Bo Byram, ladies and gentlemen, great to see the young man hammering pucks from skills coach. say BB still technically on personal leave but he’s now around the boys. Great to see!
