It’s been a roller-coaster of emotions for apountry on Monday.
First, Aaron Rodgers agreed to a massive four-year, $200 million contract with the Packers, according to NFL Network, ending hopes that the Green Bay quarterback would be traded to the Broncos.
Mere hours later, word came out that Denver was getting a different quarterback. The Broncos agreed in principle to acquire Seahawks star Russell Wilson, a source confirmed to The Denver Post.

Aaron Rodgers was a 3-4-year solution.
Russell Wilson is an 8-to-10-year solution.
Advantage: WILSON
Biggest offseason day for the Broncos since they traded for Peyton Manning.

The Broncos missed out on Aaron Rodgers and landed an even better plan at QB… Russell Wilson.

Russell Wilson is younger than Aaron Rodgers.
He’s won as many Super Bowls as Rodgers.
Plus he’s bringing Ciara to the Mile High baby!!!

Russell Wilson and the Broncos have some history.

The Broncos have used 11 different starting QBs since Peyton Manning retired prior to the 2016 season, tied for the most in the NFL over that span.
Only 3 teams have had a worse Total QBR over that span.

This organization bet on Carroll and Schneider over Russell Wilson.
Unbelievable. That's the exact outcome I didn't want.
