Randy Gregory
Position: Outside linebacker.

Projected role with Broncos: A defensive end in Dallas’ 4-3 scheme, Gregory is expected to play outside linebacker in the Broncos’ 3-4 front, opposite Bradley Chubb, in a pass-rushing role.
D.J. Jones
Position: Defensive lineman.
Age: 27.
Height/weight: 6-0/305.
College: Mississippi.
NFL experience: Five years.
Former NFL team: San Francisco.
Key facts: Sixth-round pick (No. 198 overall) in 2017. … Career totals of 126 tackles (23 for lost yardage) and seven sacks in 61 games (46 starts). … Missed 49ers’ run to Super Bowl in 2019 with ankle injury. … Best season was ’21 — 17 games (all starts), 46 tackles, 10 for lost yardage and 550 defensive snaps.
Projected role with Broncos: A defensive tackle in the 49ers’ four-man line, Jones is expected to play end on the Broncos’ three-man line, but has experience playing nose tackle against the center. Jones will take the role previously held by Shelby Harris, who was traded to Seattle in the deal for quarterback Russell Wilson.
