Nathan MacKinnon (29) of the Colorado Avalanche prepares for a faceoff against the Vancouver Canucks during the third period of Vancouver’s 3-1 win on Wednesday, March 23, 2022. Getting your player ready...
Avalanche center Nathan MacKinnon was ruled out of Tuesday’s game at Calgary and traveled to Denver to be further examined for what is believed to be a hand injury stemming from Sunday’s fight at Minnesota against Wild defenseman Matt Dumba.
MacKinnon skated with skills coach Shawn Allard on Wednesday, a day off for the team, and appeared to move without issue with Thursday’s home game against the San Jose Sharks looming.
The videos were taken by a spectator at Family Sports Center in Centennial, and the source gave The Denver Post permission to publish it anonymously.
