Two people, a driver and a child, died Saturday in a single-vehicle crash on C-470 in Douglas County.
The rollover crash happened at about 2 p.m. in the westbound lanes just east of Lucent Boulevard, said Sgt. Troy Kessler, of the Colorado State Patrol.
The vehicle in the crash was a white 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck, Kessler said.
Three people, a man and two children, were in the truck. The driver and one child died at the scene. The second child, an 8-year-old, was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation. Lanes on the highway were shut down after the crash. By about 5:15 p.m., all lanes, except the express lane, reopened to traffic.
