Wednesday’s postponed Chicago White Sox-Cleveland Guardians game will be made up as part of a split doubleheader July 23 at Guaranteed Rate Field, the Sox announced Thursday.

Game 1, the makeup game, will start at 12:10 p.m. The regularly scheduled contest, Game 2, begins at 6:15 p.m.

Game tickets, parking and Huntington Bank Stadium Club passes from the postponement will be honored only for the 12:10 p.m. makeup game, the Sox said. Fans don’t need to exchange game tickets, parking passes or Stadium Club passes to attend the rescheduled game, the Sox said.

Wednesday’s game was postponed because of . It was the first coronavirus-related postponement of the 2022 MLB season.
