Thanks to pandemic-fueled housing demand, Madison & Co. Properties completed more than $1 billion in sales during 2021. And this year, the company is on track to grow even more.

“During the pandemic, the real estate market experienced record-setting growth, so our support team has been busier than ever,” says Carrie Hurich, senior vice president of operations for Madison & Co. Properties.

“The pandemic presented challenges that none of us had ever experienced before. Everyone was instantly forced to learn to swim or sink,” Hurich says. “We’re proud to share that at Madison & Co. Properties, we not only polished up on our swimming, but we learned to surf, too.”

After thriving during the pandemic challenges, the company is confident in the future.

“Our team is stronger than ever having gone through the pandemic together and we’ve got some really exciting changes on the horizon to grow even more,” Hurich says.

Madison & Company’s employees agree, and their feedback pushed the company into second place on this year’s Top Workplaces list of midsize companies. The company spent the past two years ranking third for midsize businesses, and in 2019 and 2018, it was the top-ranked midsize business.

Moving forward

Innovation will continue to be crucial for Madison & Company employees.

“Madison & Company Properties prides itself on having cutting edge tech for our agents and administrative team alike,” Hurich says. “We are constantly improving our systems and processes to be innovative and competitive.”

Thanks to the pandemic, the workplace of tomorrow will continue to offer employees flexible schedules and high-tech services.

“In the real estate industry brokers are always on the run so a large majority of our work was already high on the tech side, but now it’s even more so.”
