Two people were shot in Aurora on Saturday morning, and one victim, a man, died at the scene.
The shooting happened about 3:20 a.m. in the 2900 block of South Peoria Street, police said in a news release.
The double shooting took place at a party. When officers arrived, they found one man dead. A second victim, a juvenile male, was taken to a hospital. He is expected to survive, police said. A homicide investigation is ongoing.
In Denver, a person was shot in the 1700 block of South Bannock Street, police said on Twitter at 8:51 a.m. The victim was taken to a hospital in a private vehicle. An investigation is underway.
