Getting to work on Monday was likely not top-of-mind for any of the Colorado Avalanche fans who took to the streets Sunday night.
The Avs completed a dominant postseason late Sunday night with a 2-1 Game 6 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning, winning the Stanley Cup for the first time since 2001. Although the game took place at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida, Denver was alive with excitement for its home team.
