Ureña was solid in his Rockies debut, pitching 6 2/3 innings against the Dodgers on Wednesday. He allowed one run on five hits, with three walks and two strikeouts. The veteran signed a minor-league deal with the Rockies on May 13 after being designated for assignment by the Brewers. In five career starts against the Padres, he’s 1-3 with a 3.77 ERA.

Manaea is coming off a poor performance in San Diego’s 8-2 loss to Seattle. He allowed four runs on eight hits and four walks in just 3 1/3 innings. The former A’s lefty is 0-2 with a 5.06 ERA in two career starts vs. the Rockies, with both starts coming at Coors Field.

Trending: The Rockies took three out of four games at Arizona, winning each game by one run (4-3, 6-5 and 3-2). The Rockies are now 14-11 in one-run games this season, the fourth-most one-run wins in the National League.

At issue: Outfielder Yonathan Daza, who’s been a steady offensive force this season, has run into a bit of a rut. He went 1-for-4 Sunday and finished the road trip 4-for-22 (.182).
