A woman was killed in a hit-and-run collision Wednesday night on West Colfax Avenue near Interstate 25, Denver police said.
The woman was walking when a car hit her, about 11:30 p.m., and she died at the scene.
Eastbound Colfax was closed at the Federal Boulevard junction while police investigated the collision.
: Officers are investigating a hit and run traffic crash involving a motorist and a pedestrian on W Colfax Ave near I-25. An adult female was pronounced deceased on scene. Investigation is ongoing. EB Colfax is closed at Federal. Alternate routes advised.
