A juvenile was shot dead overnight in southeast Denver, police said.
ALERT: officers are investigating a shooting in the 2000 block of E Buchtel Blvd. One victim was located with unknown extent of injuries. Updates will be posted as they become available.

The shooting happened in the 2200 block of Buchtel Boulevard South, police said, which is just south of Interstate 25 near the University of Denver campus. The victim, a male, died at the scene, police said at 1:05 p.m. Saturday.
No arrest had been made as of Saturday afternoon. Police did not release information on a suspect in the shooting. An investigation is ongoing.
