Police are responding to two shootings on Friday afternoon in Denver with each sending one person to a hospital.
ALERT: officers are investigating a shooting near intersection of 13th and Knox. One victim has been transported to the hospital with unknown extent of injuries. Investigators are working to develop suspect information. Updates will be posted to this thread.

One shooting happened near West 13th Avenue and Knox Court, police said in a 4:53 p.m. tweet.
The other shooting happened across town in the 800 block of South Oneida Street, police said in a 4:54 p.m. tweet.
Police said the extent of the victims’ injuries are “unknown” and that investigators are working to develop information on a suspect or suspects in each shooting.
