The frigid temperatures expected in Denver overnight on Wednesday into Thursday have led to several event cancellations and closures.
The has called it “one of the worst cold snaps in 30 years” and the city of Denver has opened up warming shelters.
Here’s a list below of events that have been canceled on Thursday:
- Denver Botanic Gardens and for the whole day on Thursday. Those who have tickets can call 720-865-3500 to reschedule.
- Denver Zoo, including its , will be closed for the entire day.
- Denver will be closed on Thursday. Those who have Festival Hall table reservations will receive refunds or can be rescheduled. Organizers will contact those affected. The market will still be open Wednesday and for the final day on Friday.
