More than 575 flights into or out of Denver International Airport have been canceled Thursday after an overnight winter storm dropped nearly four inches of snow at the airport and saw the temperature at the airport dip to -24 degrees.
As of 6:45 p.m. Thursday, 586 flights have been canceled and another 761 flights have been delayed, .
Southwest Airlines canceled 71% of its flights as of 6:45 p.m. Thursday. The airline nixed 384 flights altogether, with an additional 87 delayed.
Among other airlines, 87 SkyWest flights, 50 Frontier flights, 47 United flights and four American Airlines flights have been canceled Thursday.
