The Broncos and the Chargers — the Bills safety who suffered cardiac arrest on the field on Monday’s Buffalo-Cincinnati game — on Sunday.
After the opening kick-off, Denver’s Russell Wilson and Los Angeles’ Derwin James — both players wear No. 3, like Hamlin — went to the center of the field, kneeled down and appeared to pray. Meanwhile, both teams came out with all the players linking arms.
The Chargers were given a delay-of-game penalty. Denver declined it.
