A man shot in Denver has died and police on Thursday announced they are investigating.
No suspect had been identified, Denver police officials said in a tweet.
The shooting happened in the 1900 block of South Vallejo Street, the officials said.
The medical examiner’s office will release the victim’s identity and cause of death.

UPDATE: this incident is now being investigated as a homicide. Victim is an adult male. Office of the Medical Examiner will release victim ID & cause of death. No arrests at this time. Anyone with info is asked to call at 720-913-7867.
