Cherokee Trail boys track, fresh off state record in 1600 relay, eyes another Class 5A title this weekend at Jeffco Stadium

The Cougars are aiming for their third boys track title to go along with crowns in 2007, ’13

Cherokee Trail turned in a state record 3:13.02, helping the Cougars to the Centennial League championship. That mark roasted the previous record, Rangeview's time of 3:14.72 from 2012, by over 1.5 seconds.
