Getting your player ready...

Denver on Sunday placed wide receiver Kendall Hinton (knee) and outside linebacker Baron Browning (knee) on the physically unable to perform list and wide receiver KJ Hamler and defensive lineman Mike Purcell on the non-football injury list, the team announced.

All four will count against the Broncos’ 90-man roster as veterans report for training camp on Tuesday and the club holds its first open camp practice Friday. They are eligible to return to participation at any point during training camp.

The injury designations are similar, but the NFI list is used to designate players who suffered injuries outside of organized club activities.

If a player starts the regular season on PUP or NFI, he must miss the team’s first four games.

The absence of multiple Broncos players — most notably running back Javonte Williams — is significant, too. Williams, as he predicted himself earlier this month and by coach Sean Payton during the team’s offseason program, is in position to participate with Denver from the outset of camp after a serious knee injury suffered in October.

Rookie sixth-round pick JL Skinner is also set to be ready for action when camp opens as well. He suffered a torn pectoral muscle training for the NFL Scouting Combine in February and was a limited participant in the offseason program.
