The Broncos’ new alternative helmets are bringing back an old-school flair.
The team on Tuesday unveiled its new “snowcapped” alternate helmets. They will be worn with Denver’s all-orange alternate uniforms.

The helmet is an all-white shell — the first time that has been used in team history — with a white face mask that pays tribute to Colorado’s snowcapped mountains. It features the Denver “D” logo, which first appeared during the ’60s and continued until 1996. It features a big orange letter “D” with a navy blue outline and a white horse on its hind legs.
The Broncos can wear the helmets , according to denverbroncos.com. Those games will be announced later this month.
Fans can see the helmet in person Saturday at the Centura Health Training Center during Denver’s Back Together Weekend. It will also be on display during practice on Aug. 17. Complimentary tickets are required to attend the Broncos training camp practices.
